Three Killed, One Seriously Injured in Brooklyn Car Accident

 

According to the authorities, this Brooklyn car accident occurred on Saturday morning at approximately 2 a.m.  The 21-year-old male driver of an Acura was allegedly speeding in an eastbound direction on Avenue U when he blew through a red light at the intersection with East Fifth Street.  As a result, he slammed into a Toyota sedan that was moving through that intersection.  Both of the occupants of the Toyota were killed, as was the driver of the Acura.  A passenger in the Acura was also critically injured.
