That may have all changed in New York with a recent ruling on a case stemming from Syracuse.
There was news released recently that revealed that a controversial bill that was proposed in Michigan regarding ‘medical malpractice reform’ was defeated in the legislature. While working as New York medical malpractice lawyers obviously makes people biased in their opinions, this law would have been a terrible injustice to people who trust their medical care providers with their health only to pay a heavy price when mistakes are made during the course of this care. Hopefully proposed laws that go this far will also be defeated in other states.
