Woman Walking with Family Killed in Brooklyn Pedestrian Accident

According to the authorities, this fatal Brooklyn pedestrian accident occurred on Saturday afternoon at approximately 2:25 p.m.  An unidentified 60-year-old woman was walking with family members near West 5th Street and Quentin Road in Bensonhurst.  Suddenly, an Acura and a Jeep collided in the street next to them, and the Jeep careened onto the sidewalk and into the woman.  She was killed as a result of the crash, and one of the passengers in the Jeep was critically injured.  Police have not yet identified a cause for the crash.
