11 People Injured in Harlem Car Accident When SUV Hits Bus

mta-busWhen New York car accidents occur, they often involve two or more vehicles colliding and one of the drivers involved in the crash being at fault for what took place.  However, there are also situations where two vehicles will collide and neither of the drivers were at fault for the crash.  While it’s too early to know exactly what happened, what is known is that an SUV crashed into the front of a stopped MTA bus on Wednesday morning and 11 people were injured in a Harlem car accident.  Police are still investigating the situation.


According to the authorities, this Harlem car accident occurred on Wednesday morning at approximately 6:45 a.m.  An MTA bus was stopped at Frederick Douglas Boulevard and West 135th Street when suddenly, a Jeep SUV came directly at it.  As it turns out, the Jeep had veered out of control because it had been hit by a livery cab that was attempting to make a U-turn nearby.  A total of 11 people were injured in this crash, and at least six people suffered what were described as serious injuries.  None of the names of those involved were released.
